Thanks for stopping by From Gay to Z!
What you will find here are my thoughts, opinions, and sometimes (gasp!) judgments on anything from, well, gay topics to not-so-gay issues and everything in between. While I am a gay man, it doesn’t necessarily define everything I talk about, think about, or am interested in.
I am also a
- father to three beautiful children,
- a husband to a wonderful man,
- a friend to those who would have me,
- a college English professor to those who can stomach my academic rants,
- and an author venturing into the world of publication
I am far more than my sexual identity, and with the Internet filled with blogs and websites catering to exposed manflesh (not something I turn a blind eye to, mind you), I wanted to create a blog that covered other issues beyond merely the carnal. I’m not promising I won’t occasionally fall into the pit of exposed manflesh (hmmm, interesting image) and post a picture here and there of a sculpted torso or broach a topic primarily of interest to those of the same-gender persuasion, my posts will cover a wide range of issues–parenting, academia, popular culture, politics, writing, etc.
I hope you enjoy your stay at From Gay to Z.
Take off your shoes. Get comfortable. You’re welcome for as long as you wish to stay. If you’re the last one to bed though, please turn off the lights.

Wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!
Had to come check out your website–very nice!

Really liked this statement too.
Glad you came by, Sarah! I hope you come by again soon
Hi,
I love your blog.
I thoroughly enjoyed the interviews with Justin, Spencer & Dutch from 3… Having been part of a trio I felt/feel a special affinity with them and cannot wait to read the book.
Thanks for all the interesting stuff on here

I’m glad you enjoyed the character interviews, Elaine. I had tons of fun writing them. Those three guys hold a special place in my heart, and I hope that if you get a chance to read the book, that they will become special to you too.
I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your book, 3, even if I ended up crying towards the end. The ending made up for that part though. I love a happy ending. You have a great skill for storytelling and I hope to read many of your stories.
Michele, thank you for your kind words. I’m glad you enjoyed 3. Justin, Spencer, and Dutch mean a lot to me, and I’m glad their journey resonated with you. My new novel tentatively titled The Gifted One comes out with Dreamspinner in March/April. It’s a paranormal romance, and I’m pretty excited about it too! It’s got angels, demons, creatures from religious lore, and some pretty scary moments. There’s also some sweet loving in there too!
Hi,
I just finished 3 and loved it! I found myself torn between wanting to slow down so the story wouldn’t end, and wanting to tear through the last few chapters to see how it ends. Do you have any plans to continue their story?
Thanks for a great read!
Scott, I’m glad you enjoyed 3. I had a lot of fun writing it, and those guys mean a lot to me. Right now, I have no plans in the works to further their story, but I do have another book coming out from DSP in March/April that’s a paranormal romance. Hopefully, you’ll give that a try.
I enjoyed every page of 3 even those that made me cry… I loved them especially spencer & glad you gave them their happy ending <3
I'm definitely gonna read the gifted one next.
Thanks for the great book(s) ?
Aww, thanks, Mona! I’m glad you enjoyed 3, and I hope you enjoy The Gifted One.
Jacob, I must thank you! Your idea to do an interview with the characters from your novel has inspired me. I have written an interview with two of the characters of my novel. As soon as I have translated it in English I will publish it and of course I will tell that it’s you who has inpired me to write the interview, I will also mention this on my website.
Gaby, I’m glad the interviews inspired you. I can’t wait to read your interviews, when you have them ready.
I’d asked you on FB for a link to your website, Jacob, then found it on my own. Nice site, good personal information (I truly envy you all you have in your life). Keep up the good work!
Dorien
I must’ve missed it, Dorien. Sorry. But thank you for your kind words. I feel blessed.
Damn I was looking at different parts of your blog and the Wedding Dance made me cry. That doesn’t happen often. Great site by the way.
Thanks, Solaria. That was a great video, wasn’t it?
